99,000 steps in Italy

Favorite Thing: Taking a cooking class in Cinque Terre

Favorite Food: Gelato. It’s now a daily staple in my diet

Italy was a whirlwind! I don’t think I’ve fully absorbed everything I have seen so far! I’m in awe of the history and architecture of these cities. I also can’t believe the artwork we’ve seen so far! Out of all the cities we visited, Cinque Terre and Florence were my favorites. Cinque Terra has the ocean and beautiful colors, and Florence has the amazing Leather Market, where I walked away with 3 bags for amazing prices. I’ve been dreaming of the Florence Leather Market for a year, and I thoroughly enjoyed haggling with the sellers!

Our sights included the Vatican, the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, seeing the David in person, lots of churches, and most importantly shopping! The cooking class we did was not a part of the tour, but you do have a free day, and I recommend this. We made a 3- course meal from scratch; they even adjusted our ingredients to meet my mom's gluten allergy needs!
