Germany was exactly how I pictured it. We visited the medieval villages in the Rhine Valley, then went to Rothenburg. There’s a lot of sausage, beer, and wine in Germany!

Our sights included touring vineyards and walking around the villages to learn more about the Thirty-Year War, how people lived back then, and how they protected their land.

The villages looked like they were straight out of a Disney movie and pictures will never do it justice. We were able to climb to the top of the Rothenburg City Hall tower to overlook the entire village, which was an incredible sight!
